Perry’s restaurant is a small country kitchen style restaurant on the corner of 74th and May Avenue, and the service reflects the restaurant itself. The servers were friendly, and didn’t even bat an eye at my odd questioning, and were quick to refill my drink.

The price comparison to Carson’s is pretty surprising when the prices for a chicken fried steak meal is put side by side.

The price for a full chicken fried steak dinner at Perry’s is $7, which includes a roll, soup, fries and a baked potato. For the same dinner at Carson’s it costs $9.06, and that’s with a cheap replacement for the potato.

For a cheap chicken fried steak, eat at Perry’s.
