Three point shootout comes to campus
On Friday, Recreation and Fitness will be hosting the first three-point shootout in a series which will run every Friday up until May 5.
The rules of the event follow the NBA format. Participants will have 75 seconds to shoot 25 threes from five different spots on the court. Orange balls will be worth one point with the black balls, or “money balls,” being worth two points.
Each new week will allow participants to have three rounds which they can complete any time between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday. Participants are not required to do this every week as top scores will be recorded.
The top score from each of the first six weeks along with the two highest scores from non qualifiers will go on to the final shoot out being held on Friday, May 5.
There will be a participation sheet posted every Monday until May 5 for the shootout that week. The shootout will be limited to the first 30 participants to sign up each week on a first come, first serve basis.
