OCCC will host a scuba session with Blue Water Divers 6 to 8:30 p.m. tonight in the Aquatic Center.

Recreation and Fitness Director Roxanna Butler said those who come and participate in the event will have a chance to take pictures and video with Santa and test out some new equipment.

“The event is for certified divers to come possibly try their new equipment, but also see new things from Blue Water,” Butler said.

Allen Aboujeib, Blue Water employee, came last year and said that this will not be a session for those who have never been diving before.

“We offer classes year round teaching students about different diving scenarios that could led them to diving an open area or even old ships,” Aboujeib said.

OCCC has always been a good place to come enjoy the water, he said.

“They have always been good to us and it is always a pleasure coming to the school,” Aboujeib said.

He said this is the last event for Santa before he heads off to the North Pole and he hopes to see good crowd tonight.
