Retired psychology prof dies

Retired OCCC psychology professor Thomas Jones, 68, died Tuesday, Nov. 8.
Jones was diagnosed with stomach cancer earlier this year. On Oct. 30, he learned he had developed a brain tumor. Nine days later, he died from complications from that tumor.
Funeral services for Jones will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at Council Roads Baptist Church at 2900 N. Council Road in Bethany.
Internment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Oklahoma City.
Survivors include his wife, Julie Bell; daughter, Cindy Reich and her husband Rick; son, Mark Jones and his wife Rhonda; daughter, Debby Watson and her husband Jim; grandchildren J.T. Reich, Marilyn Jones, Thomas Wesley Jones, and Zechariah Jones; and brother and sister-in-law Robert Jack and Sandra Jean Jones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas B. Jones and Orla Lea Jones, and grandson Tyler Henry.
