The College Republicans hosted a popcorn sale from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday Aug. 28, in the Main Building.

Thirty minutes into the sale, Club president Zach Sumner gave up on asking for donations and began to give the popcorn away, allowing students to donate money if they wished.

Roughly $12 was made from the sale and will be used to help fund future events by the group such as laser tag, to be hosted in September with the College Democrats, a chess tournament with the Gamer’s Guild and a zombie movie marathon with the GSA.
