Culture Spotlight: Vietnam 

Student Life and International Student Services encourages students to attend our cultural exploration event highlighting Vietnam. Students will have the opportunity to learn more about Vietnamese customs, food, and traditions led by a student from Vietnam. We will learn more while we eat traditional Vietnamese food at the Golden Phoenix. After, we will enjoy some Boba tea, and then explore the Asian Market in Chinatown. Dinner and transportation will be provided. We will meet in the Student Life common area. The shuttle will leave promptly at 5:00. Spots are limited, so sign up fast!

Volunteer Opportunity: Sharing Tree

Join Student Life as we partner with Rose State College to serve our community with Sharing Tree’s Christmas Connections program. Sharing Tree will be providing a Christmas shopping experience for over 800 families this holiday season, and you can be a part of all of the shopping fun! All shoppers & volunteers will be asked to wear a mask. Back for its 9th annual season, join RACE Dance Collective and OKCPS Dance Programs as they tell a reimagined tale of Tchaikovsky’s holiday classic! Through the eyes of a young Carlos, we follow him on a journey of self-discovery as he meets magic dolls, battling robots, and tap dancing Snowfly fairies! In the end, he discovers how love comes from the diverse community that surrounds him. RACE’s Hip Hop Nutcracker is a show that celebrates the culture and community of OKC and is full of exciting performances that will keep you on the edge of your seat!

Tickets are on sale now at tickets.occc.edu! Masks will be required at all performances. No Vax Cards Required.
