Life is learning
I was thinking about learning the other day, and how important it is to never stop.
Each day is a new experience with new things to learn whether it is about life or formal education.
Many think that after college and receiving a degree they are done with learning. It is something we see, as a pill we have to swallow, with relief after it is done. If you stop seeking answers your life will become an endless hamster wheel, never moving forward.
We think that learning is for children and the young, but how wrong is that? Every new thing I have learned in adulthood has enriched or improved my life in some way, even if I wasn’t aware of it at the time.
The problem is I forget that it is learning not just the monotony of life. If I look at it from a different perspective I can see all these experiences as growth and appreciate them in a new way.
From the moment we are born we begin to learn: we learn to walk, talk, read, ride a bike, etc. Why would that learning halt because you have graduated?
We are made to learn, it improves us and through us others. If we can see that learning is a lifelong experience, not a childhood requirement, it will make all the difference in our lives.
Become diversified and learn something new today!
