Film institute to offer summer seminars
OCCC’s Oklahoma Film Institute will host four three-day film production seminars, called “Cinema Clinics,” on campus this summer.
In a press release, Media Relations Coordinator Cordell Jordan said the clinics will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 2 through 25 in the Visual and Performing Arts Center.
Artist in Residence/Studio Coordinator Gray Frederickson, the man behind “The Godfather” trilogy and “Apocalypse Now,” will host the seminars with Film and Video Production Professor Greg Mellott.
The subjects of the clinics will change every week, the press release states.
Production will be taught on the first week, script writing on the second, directing on the third, and editing on the final week.
Tuition for each clinic session is $300. Space is limited. For more information or to enroll in this summer’s OFI clinics, please call 405-682-7847.
