Students invited to participate in class scheduling survey
All students are invited to participate in an online survey to share their preferences on scheduling their classes at OCCC. The four-question survey is being offered through the enrollment management committee and will be available to students until Monday, Oct. 7.
Associate Vice President for Enrollment Services Liz Largent said the survey focuses on specific days of the week and times students choose to attend class.
“We initiated it through the enrollment management committee just to kind of look at when [students] attend class so when we are building the academic schedule for spring, fall and summer, we can make sure our class offerings mirror student preferences,” Largent said.
Largent said the committee will look at the results and from there and determine if any changes need to be made to class schedules.
“We believe the schedule reflects student preferences already but this is just a way to make sure that’s true and then make any adjustments that the survey would suggest,” she said.
Largent said this is the first time the committee has offered this survey which takes about two minutes to complete.
