From one student to another: you’ve got this
Classes are coming to an end and there will be students graduating here in a bit. How many of you fall into that category?
I know I do and yet I feel like I have not taken school as seriously enough as I should have.
It is fine if you feel this way. The end of this school year is coming and there is always a new start. A fresh new beginning and a fresh new semester. I already have changes in mind and changes that are inevitable as well but that I know have to happen.
Don’t mind me bragging but I just got promoted at my main job and boy am I nervous. This means more hours that I have to work and that is what makes me so nervous. However, if I have survived this far with two jobs and being a full-time student, then I can do this. We can do this.
So for all those of you who fall into any of the categories mentioned, relax. At least it’s not the end of the world, just the end of the semester. Whether you are looking at a promotion, finishing a degree, working two or more jobs, or are a full-time student, you’ve got this. Do what you have to do to make these lasts weeks the best for you.
If you feel like you are barely passing a class, find new study methods than the ones you are currently using. Get close to classmates; it helps make the class and lectures more fun and interesting as you can rely on each other when studying or when lecture become hard to understand. Finish the semester proudly, study harder and relax. Take it day-by-day and stop overwhelming yourself.
You still have about a month until the semester is over.
