Comm Lab Assistant Nick Webb will give workshops titled, “Evaluating Credible Sources on the Internet,” at noon and 6 p.m. on Feb. 25 in CU2.

Comm Lab and WLCC Supervisor Rachel Olsen said in an email, “Nick (Webb) will help students understand how to separate the wheat from the chaff while conducting research for their OCCC essays.”

Webb said the purpose of the workshop will be to help students utilize the internet the find the best sources for their papers.

“You don’t want to end your research process at Wikipedia. It’s like a shallow lake — it’s wide but not very deep,” he said.
