All students, regardless of current career prospects, are encouraged to attend the Greater Grads Career Fair from noon to 4 p.m. March 5 at the Cox Convention Center, located at 1 Myriad Gardens in Oklahoma City, said Graduation, Employment and Transfer Director Jill Lindblad. 

“OCCC will be providing transportation to and from the event, she said. 

In addition to transportation, Lindblad said, OCCC will be offering guidance and advice on student résumés.

“The goal of this event is to help Oklahoma retain recent graduates for jobs in the state,” she said. 

Last year, the fair attracted more than 650 students from across the state and around 100 Oklahoma employers attended, including Devon, Boeing and Chesapeake Energy.

The fair is a high-profile event, Lindblad said, so students are expected to be dressed professionally.
