Regents discuss student success

The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education visited OCCC for the the annual OSRHE Tour at 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 27 in College Union rooms 2 and 3.

Once a year, regents meet at OCCC, Oklahoma State University in Oklahoma City, Langston University in OKC, or Rose State College for lunch and and to hear Chancellor Glen Johnson speak about current issues in higher education.

This year, Chancellor Johnson’s topic was degree completion, titled “Oklahoma’s Higher Education Road to Success.”

In preparation for the regent’s arrival, a portion of parking lot “D” was closed to students, staff, and faculty from 12 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to give the visitors available parking.
