To start off the playoffs, the Milwaukee Bucks got revenge on the Miami Heat by completing a 4-0 sweep to advance to the next round.

The Bucks would face and defeat the Brooklyn Nets in the next round that went to seven games led by their power forward, Giannis Antetokounmpo, who averaged over 31 points and about 13 rebounds in that series.

Miami pulled off an unpredictable upset in last season’s playoffs defeating the Bucks 4-1.

In the playoffs, each playoff series is best of seven, which means whoever wins four times advances to the round ahead.

The Bucks would face and defeat the Brooklyn Nets in the next round that went to seven games led by their power forward, Giannis Antetokounmpo, who averaged over 31 points and about 13 rebounds in that series.

Milwaukee has one more series ahead of them before the NBA Finals, and the team that is standing in their way is the Atlanta Hawks led by Trae Young.

The Bucks vs the Hawks in the eastern conference finals was not a matchup anyone predicted.

The Hawks defeated the Knicks (4-1) and the 76ers (4-3) in the two previous series.

Young is averaging 29 points and over 10 assists per game in these playoffs.

Switching to the wild western conference, the Phoenix Suns took on the defending NBA champions Los Angeles Lakers led by Lebron James and Anthony Davis. While the Lakers were up 2-1, in-game four, Davis appeared to pull his groin which means bad news for the Lakers.

Phoenix took advantage and went on to take the next three games and move on to the next round in the playoffs.

Suns star shooting guard, Devin Booker, in the first playoff series of his career, averaged almost 30 points while shooting over 40 percent from the three-point line and over 90 percent from the free-throw line.

Phoenix had no challenge versus the Denver Nuggets led by this season’s most valuable player (MVP) Nikola Jokic. It took only four games to end this series with the Suns advancing to the western conference finals.

The Suns will make their first finals appearance since 1993.

Switching to the wild western conference, the Los Angeles Clippers took down the Dallas Mavericks in the first round in seven games.

The Clippers superstar small forward, Kawhi Leonard, averaged 32 points, while shooting over 60 percent from the field and 40 percent from behind the arc in the war with Dallas.

In that series against the Mavericks the other Clippers star forward, Paul George also averaged 23 points, nine rebounds, and about six assists.

The Clippers clashed with the Utah Jazz who took care of the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round. The first two games went to Utah, while the next two games went to LA.

The climax of this series was that the Clippers would be without their star Kawhi Leonard due to an ACL injury that kept him out for the rest of the series.

Fortunately, Paul George averaged over 30 points in the next two games to give Los Angeles the victory over the Utah Jazz to conclude this series.

The Clippers advanced to the western conference finals for the first time in franchise history to face the Phoenix Suns.
